Marvel Champions: The Once and Future Kang
Designer: Michael Boggs, Nate French, Caleb Grace
Artist: Various
Publisher: Fantasy Flight Games
Year Published: 2020
No. of Players: 1-4 (best: 2-4)
Ages: 14+
Playing Time: 30-45 minutes
[WARNING: semi-spoilers] The third scenario pack from Marvel Champions LCG explores time travel with the infamous Kang or "that guy that looks like Doctor Doom but purple". Kang plans to rule over Earth but figures that in order to do so, he must eliminate the world of its mighty heroes. He uses time travel to give superheroes impossible challenges, hoping they won't win.
The difficulty level of this scenario pack is quite high as Kang throws in some curve ball obligation and treachery cards. At some point, players will have to deal with a different version of Kang by setting up their own mini-game. This, to me, is a genius scenario. It adds a good flavor to your Marvel Champions games.
Oh, and it has Dinosaurs.
