The Army Painter Fanatic Starter

The Army Painter recently released a new line of paints called Warpaint: Fanatics. Singles were released in late April 2024 while boxed sets were released a few weeks earlier. I visited Tabletop Game and Hobby in Overland Park, KS (a suburb of Kansas City) and picked up the new starter set which includes 11 of the "most wanted" Fanatic paints. This core box includes 11 bottles of 7 acrylic bottles, 2 metallics, 1 brush on primer, 1 wash, a miniature and a brush to get you started.  The bottles hold 18ml /.06 oz of liquid. 

In addition to the paints, brush, and miniature, you get a painting guide, some cool stickers, and a way to contact The Army Painter (TAP) if need be. Things are organized and come in a clam shell package with the paper loose in the box. The stickers are a nice touch. I quickly used a couple on my water bottle and on my PC case.

This starter retailes for $39.99 and is considered a great value for the brush, included miniature and bottles of paints. The colors are what you'd expect in a starter and includes a black, white, brown, blue, green, yellow, and red, plus the primer and metallics- silver and gold.
